H-Infinity Control of Railroad Vehicle Active Suspension
In this paper, we apply H-infinity control theory to the control of the active suspension, for the purpose of reducing yaw, lateral motion and roll, of a railroad vehicle. Results of simulations, using mathematical models and running tests, performed on the experimental vehicle indicate that yaw, lateral motion and roll are significantly reduced by the proposed H-infinity control.
