State-Feedback Impulse Elimination of Linear Time-Varying Singular Systems
Linear time-varying singular systems E(t)x = A(t)x + B(t)u are treated. A necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of linear state feedback to eliminate impulsive behavior is derived. The condition obtained is a natural extension of existing time-invariant theory.
