Ionic-Conduction of Ag+ and Cu+ Ions in Vacancy Defect Spinel Compounds (Min(5)S(8))(1-X)(In2S3)(X)(M=cu or Ag, X-Less-Than-1) in Microwave Regime
Vacancy defect sulfide spinel compounds, (MIn(5)S(8))(1-x)(In2S3)(x) (M = Cu or Ag; x < 1), have been studied for ion dynamics by ac conductivity between 26.5 GHz and 60 GHz using a vector network analyzer. The Cu system has higher plateau frequency than that of Ag system. The increment of the number of vacancy V-u leads the increase of the plateau frequency for the Cu system. The plateau frequency for the Ag system is less than 26.5 GHz.
