Effect of Tetragonal Content of BaTiO3 Particles on the Ionic-Conductivity Enhancement in a Na4Zr2Si3O12/BaTiO3 Composite Electrolyte
The conductivity enhancement mechanism of a Na4Zr2Si3O12/BaTiO3 composite solid electrolyte has been investigated. The magnitude of the enhancement increases with increasing tetragonal content of BaTiO3 particles. The dependence of a.c. conductivity on frequency shows that the enhancement is due to an increase in the hopping rate rather than concentration of mobile sodium ions.
