The High-Temperature Proton Ba-3(Ca1.18Nb1.82)O-9-Delta - Thermogravimetry of the Water-Uptake
The hydrogen uptake of Ba-3(Ca1.18Nb1.82)O-9-delta (BCN18) was studied in situ by thermogravimetry at different temperatures and water vapour pressures. The results can be described in terms of an ideal solution process. In contrast to earlier investigations on the Yb doped cerate system, the analysis shows an effective oxygen vacancy concentration equal to that expected from stoichiometric considerations.
