Experimental dissolution of CaCO3-MnCO3 solid solutions in CO2-H2O solutions at 20 degrees C - I. Synthetic low-temperature carbonates
The dissolution behavior of three synthetic Ca(1-x)MnxCO3 solid solutions (X=0.25, 0.48, 0.75; space group R (3) over bar c) in CO2-saturated solutions at 20 degrees C is investigated by batch-type experiments. The reaction paths are compared to thermodynamic equilibrium and stoichiometric saturation conditions.
