AC conductivity in (AgI)(1-x)(Ag2MoO4)(x) ionic glasses in the 77-300 K temperature region
The dielectric properties of (AgI)(1-x)(Ag2MoO4)(x) glasses have been investigated at fixed microwave frequency (v = 9.0 GHz) and temperature varying from T = 293 K down to T = 77 K using the usual cylindrical cavity resonating in the TM010 mode. The temperature dependence of a.c. conductivity shows the existence of different relaxation processes. The activation energy values extracted from the Arrhenius plot of sigma T vs. 1000/T are compared with the values obtained from the acoustic attenuation in the same glasses.
