Crystal structure investigation and conductivity of binary bismuth-cadmium oxide Bi2CdO4
The crystal structure of Bi2CdO4 was determined from X-ray powder data: a = 1.44948 nm, c = 0.93173 nm, S.G 14(1),/amd, Z = 16, The electrical conductivity and the relative ionic fractions of conductivity of pure Bi2CdO4 and doped with the Li2O, PbO and Y2O3, were measured using ceramic samples in temperature interval from 750 to 850 K, The 15 mol.% lithium-doped material demonstrates the maximum conductivity and the transport number for oxygen ions near 0.96.
