Solubility range and ionic conductivity of large trivalent ion doped Na1+xMxZr2-xP3O12 (M : In, Yb, Er, Y, Dy, Tb, Gd) solid electrolytes
Trivalent cation-doped sodium zirconium phosphates Na1-xMxZr2-xP3O12 (M: In, Yb, Er, Y, Dy, Tb, and Gd; 0 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 2) were prepared, and their solubility Limit and electrical conductivity were examined. There exist two types of NASICON-related phases, previously reported (M-NZP) and newly observed ones (NMP; x = 1.0-1.9 for M = Yb, Er, Y, Dy, and Tb). NMP is a metastable phase and easily absorbs water. Arrhenius plots show linearity within the M-NZP phase region while some kinks within the NMP phase region, indicating the difference of the conduction mechanism between both phases,
