Thermal-Decomposition Kinetics of Solid Iron(III) Tris-N-P-Nitrobenzoyl-N-Phenylhydroxylamine
The thermal decomposition kinetics of iron(III) tris-N-p-nitrobenzoyl-N-phenylhydroxylamine was studied by the isothermal heating technique in the range 164-177-degrees-C. The principal non-gaseous stable products of the thermal decomposition were isolated and identified. The thermal decomposition process seems not to obey a single kinetic model in the full range of studied temperatures. Kinetic models that should account for the experimental evidence are discussed.
