We developed a displacement current measuring system equipped with a thermal stimulation system. The current measuring system was applied to the detection of the displacement current generation from monolayers and heterostructured films. Orientational change in the dipole moment of monolayers initiated by thermal stimulation was estimated. Thermally stimulated current peaks originating in proton transfer in acid/amine heterostructures were detected. Finally we concluded that the system developed may be used for the investigation of the organization of monolayers and heterostructured films.
