A Study onn Catalytic Cracking of Propane
초록
Silica-alumina가 충진된 고정형 반응기내에서 propane과 수증기의 혼합물의 분리반응에 관하여 연구하였다. 반응기구에 관하여 고찰하였으며 고체탄소의 형성. 그리고 반응물의 공간속도와 반응온도가 전환율과 선택도 그리고 촉매의 활성도에 미치는 영향을 실험적으로 조사하였다. 비교적으로 높은 온도에서는 전환율은 거의 1에 가까왔으나 propylene에의 선택도는 급격히 감소되며 ethylene의 선택도는 증가한다. 또한 낮은 전환율에서는 생성된 gas 중 propylene대 ethylene의 비가 거의 1.0이었으며 여기서 ethylene과 propylene은 1차분해 생성물이라는 것을 알 수 있다.
Catalytic cracking reaction of propane was investigated over silica-alumina catalyst in a packed bed reactor with steam addition in the temperature range, 520 to 660 ℃.
A brief study of the mechanisms of propane cracking was carried out and coke formation was discussed. Also the effect of space velocity and reaction temperature on conversion, selectivities to ethylene and propylene, and catalyst activity were experimentally investigated.
