Photophysical, Photoelectrical and Nonlinear-Optical Properties of Porphyrin-Phthalocyanine Assemblies in Langmuir-Blodgett-Films
A complete study of the ground-state and excited-state optical properties of a donor-acceptor heterocomplex ZnP(N+C22)(4)/H(2)PcTS(4-), self-assembled and organized in Langmuir-Blodgett films, is reported. These properties are probed at a molecular level and their relevance to the macroscopic photoelectrical and non-linear optical properties of the materials is pointed out.
