Comparison of Isotherms Measured Using 4 Different Methods
We compare surface pressure-area isotherms at the air-water interface measured by four different methods for two materials with different behaviour. One of the methods has been implemented as an automatic procedure for the first time. It measures the dependence of the area on the pressure instead of the opposite, using the pressure feedback of the film balance. All four methods are implemented as program routines on a computer-controlled him balance.
