BOD(5) 부하율에 따른 BOD(5) 제거효율은 BOD(5) 부하율이 0.4 kg BOD(5)/day일 때 98.0%, 0.70∼0.80 kg BOD(5)/day 일 때 94.7%, 1.5 kg BOD(5)/day일 때 91.0%였다.
For the effective treatment of complex dyeing process wastewater, a stirred loop bioreactor was designed. The removal of BOD, COD and DOC included in dyeing process wastewater was investigated using this bioreactor. During an operation period of the bioreactor, the changes of MLSS and MLVSS concentrations inside the reactor were investigated. From the experimental results, the COD(Cr) removal efficiencies were 98% at the HRT of 26 hrs, 92.4% at the HRT of 16 hrs, and 71.6∼81.4% at the HRT of 6 hrs. The BOD5 removal efficiencies at the HRT of 26 hrs, 16 hrs, and 6 hrs were 99%, 96.7% and 82.0∼91.9%, respectively. The BOD5 removal efficiencies were 98.0% at the loading rate of 0.4 kg BOD5/day, 94.7% at the loading rate of 0.70∼0.80 kg BOD5/day, 91.0% at the loading rate of 1.5 kg BOD5/day. The MLSS and MLVSS concentrations increased as the BOD5 loading rates increased within the limit of 1.5 kg BOD5/day. Stable operation of the bioreactor was possible as long as MLVSS/MLSS ratio was kept above 0.7 for a wide range of BOD5 loading rates.
