Absolute O-2(a(1)Delta) concentration measurement in singlet oxygen generator by using the piston source method
A calibrated piston source of light, which simulates a cylindrical-volume luminosity source, has been used to measure the absolute concentration of O-2(a(1)Delta). It is proved that this piston source method is one of the simplest and most convenient ways to measure the O-2(a(1)Delta) concentration in a singlet oxygen generator, especially in real time measurements. Discussions about the method and the results are also given.
