Methanol synthesis in a fluidized-bed reactor coupled with an external heat exchanger - The effect of feedback deformation
Quantitative analysis of the steady states multiplicity, linear stability and the yield of a fluidized-bed reactor for the low pressure methanol synthesis has been performed. The reactor coupled with an external heat exchanger has been considered. Particular attention has been focused on the analysis of the effect of external feedback deformation on the stationary properties of this configuration. The obtained results show a significant influence of operational parameters on the yield of the reactor. The existence of maxima of the yield has been proven.
