Styrene-butadiene copolymers with different butadiene microstructure: Mechanical, swelling, and orientational properties
Results of equilibrium stress-strain and swelling experiments are reported for styrene-butadiene copolymers of varying butadiene microstructure. The orientation of polymer chains was investigated under uniaxial elongation by birefringence and infrared dichroism spectroscopies which probe orientation on a segmental scale.
