The author trace back a Dumber of different processes for the thermal treatment of residues to a few process units (eg pyrolysis, gasification, combustion) and thus create a prerequisite for balancing the processes under uniform points of view which only makes an evaluation possible. Introduced are practically ail known processes of the thermal residue treatment.
