일축연신 조건에 따른 Poly(ethylene terephthalate)의 무정형 사슬 배향에 관한 연구

연신속도와 연신비 따른 poly(ethylene terephthalate)(PET)의 총사슬과 무정형 사슬의 배향 특성을 비교해 보았다. 연신속도가 빠를수록 연신비에 따라 총사슬의 배향 정도를 나타내는 복굴절 값은 증가하지만 무정형사슬의 배향 정도를 나타내는 배향함수(fa)를 구해본 결과 연신비에 따라서는 증가하였지만 빠른 연신속도에서는 오히려 낮은 값을 보였다. 이러한 경향은 결정화속도와 사슬이완속도와의 관계로부터 설명할 수 있었다.
The effects of uniaxial drawing conditions on the total and the amorphous molecular orientation of poly(ethylene terephthalate)(PET) were investigated. Birefringence, which indicates the total molecular orientation, was enhanced at high draw ratio and fast drawing rate. But amorphous orientation function (f(a)) increased with draw ratio but decreased with drawing rate. These behaviors were explained by the relation between crystallization rate and chain relaxation rate.
