The contribution describes the process chains for mineral oil and fuel gases relevant for the electricity availability power stations of the Western-European electricity grid. With the same methodology used for the brown- and hard-coal systems, environmental influences, such as the consumption of resources and the emissions of noxious matter occurring along the line of the process chain of the mineral oil and fuel gas systems, are being discussed.
