The material system aluminium chloride - sodium chloride is in a fluid state in a very wide temperature range and thereby opens up new possibilities for the discussion oil processes connected in series to the steam power process. As a basis for the design and an energetic evaluation of such connections, in Part I of the contribution the thermodynamic properties and the energetic peculiarities of the system are presented comprehensively.
