In Russia there are demonstration projects under way to retrofit combined heat and power stations with waste-poor waste water treatment. This is beneficial to the ecology, saves chemicals and additional water, since the waste water may be used as additional water again. The author introduces the treatment procedure which was improved considerably and which has been delivering satisfactory results up to now.
