O-2 center dot N-2 photochemistry in the present and Precambrian atmosphere
The absorption of radiation [lambda 200-260 nm] by the O-2.N-2 collision complex produces NOX with an average yield of (0.03 +/-0.008) odd-nitrogen per absorbed photon. This process is also a new source of isotope enriched odd-nitrogen in the atmospheres.
