Synthesis of polyferrocenyldimethylsilane through ring-open polymerization and its electrochemical properties in different mediums
Polyferrocenyldimethylsilanes with different molecular weights were prepared via thermal ring-opening polymerization of the corresponding strained, silicon-bridged ferrocenophanes. The electrochemical behavior of the resultant polymers in different media were investigated by cyclic voltammetry.
