ESEEM and mims ENDOR spectroscopies of cis,trans-(L-N2S2)(MoO)-O-V(SCH2Ph): Detection of the two benzylthiolate alpha protons
High-resolution pulsed EPR techniques are used to detect the benzylthiolate alpha protons and deuterons of cis,trans-(L-N2S2)(MoO)-O-V(SCH2Ph) and cis,trans-(L-N2S2)(MoO)-O-V(SCD2Ph), which mimic the beta -CH2 protons of the coordinated cysteine residue at the Mo center of sulfite oxidase.
