Synthesis, structure, and catalytic reactivity of N,N,S- and O,N,S-tridentate oxorhenium(V) complexes
Three new oxorhenium(V) catalysts have been synthesized; the one whose structural formula is shown was characterized crystallographically. These compounds catalyze oxygen atom transfer from pyridine N-oxide to tris(trimethylphenyl)phosphine in chloroform at room temperature.
