Preparation Of (eta (5)-C5Me5)Ir(PMe3)S-4 from (eta (5)-C5Me5)Ir(PMe3)(SH)(2) and SO2 In the presence of trace amounts of H2O, 3 reacts with excess SO2 to give the polysulfido iridium complex, (eta (5)-C5Me5)Ir(PMe3)S-4, an interesting variation of Claus-like chemistry.
