Estimating the onset of natural convection in a horizontal layer of a fluid with a temperature-dependent viscosity
A simple method, which can be applied to estimate the onset of natural convection in a fluid with a temperature-dependent viscosity, is presented here. It is shown that this method is very useful for experimentalists and engineers to estimate the onset of natural convection in a horizontal fluid layer.
