EXERGOECONOMIC EVALUATION AND OPTIMIZATION OF ENERGY-SYSTEMS -APPLICATION TO THE CGAM PROBLEM
A simple cogeneration system consisting of a regenerative gas-turbine system and a heat-recovery steam generator serves as an example to illustrate the application of exergoeconomic methods for evaluating and optimizing complex energy systems. We discuss various energy-costing approaches, the exergoeconomic variables, and the procedures used in evaluating and optimizing energy systems.
