Thermodynamic quantities of the Frost-Kalkwarf vapor-pressure equation
The changes in enthalpy, the Gibbs free energy and entropy derived from the Frost-Kalkwarf vapor-pressure equation were presented as variables of temperature and pressure. The boiling temperatures and the enthalpy changes of vaporization at 1 atm were numerically computed for 27 substances. Also, the enthalpy changes, the changes in the Gibbs free energy and entropy changes at 298.2 K and 1 bar were computed for 13 substances. These numerical results are in good agreement with experimental results within a few percentage points.
