A series of panchromatic visible light photoinitiators has been invented and investigated. Preliminary data exhibits good care results. Advantages include ability to cure acrylate monomers with commonly available visible light, low initiator concentration because of high absorptivities, and ability to cure through clear, colored or translucent substrates.
