Catalytic oxidation of petroleum sulfide concentrate with hydrogen peroxide
The catalytic properties of acetic and molybdic acids and acid sulfides were investigated in oxidation of petroleum sulfide concentrate with hydrogen peroxide. The efficiency of the catalysts was compared with respect to formation of sulfoxides and acid products. Acid sulfides extracted front the diesel fuel cut with sulfuric acid stripped during alkylation.
