Ferromagnetic coupling in a ladder-type copper(II) complex with single end-to-end azido bridges
A copper(II) coordination polymer with single end-to-end azido bridges has been prepared. The crystal structure consists of infinite ladders. Magnetic measurements indicate that the exchange coupling between two copper(II) ions through a single end-to-end azido bridge is a ferromagnetic interaction.
