High-gain feedback control of rotating stall in axial flow compressors
High gain feedback is used to improve the performance of bifurcation control designs for the mitigation of stall in axial flow compressors. The maximum steady-state pressure rise is maintained for a range of operating conditions beyond the stall/surge line. Analysis and numerical results are presented to support the conclusions.
