OCC(Old Corrugated Containers)로부터 백상지 제조에 관한 연구
Manufacture of fine paper from OCC(Old Corrugated Containers)
Increasing consumer demand for recycle content in most paper products is challenging manufactures to use lower value raw materials while maintaining high quality. OCC is feasible for manufacturing market pulps-AOCC is for fine papers and KOCC is for whiteboards-in the aspects of brightness and mechanical properties. On the other hand, the cost of manufacturing OCC as upgraded papers is high because of the bleaching chemicals and new plants for recycling process. But if considering various aspects-especially environment, there are many advantages. In summary, the production of bleached white paper-fine paper-from OCC will be comparable to deinked pulf grades and hardwood virgin kraft ulps when capital cost, raw material, operating costs, quality and environmental impacts are taken into consideration.
