As a new tool for assessing environmental loads, it is under the eye of industrial system to introduce LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) method, and many studies have been in processing in terms of decreasing environmental impacts as well as environmental management system of company. In this study, LCA method for paper proudcts described. Energy requirement and environmental loads for raw material aquisition, tramsportation and manufacturing of the product were quantified and evaluated. It can therefore be used as a DfE (Design for Environment) tool and basic data for Eco-labelling in the pursuit of more environmentally sound alternatives.
