졸겔법과 수열처리에 의한 베타 리튬알루미네이트의 막대모양 결정성장
Rod-like Crystal Growth of β-LiAlO2 by Sol-Gel Method and Hydrothermal Treatment
초록
리튬 알콕사이드[(CH3)2CHOLi 혹은 C2H5CH(CH3)OLi]와 알루미늄 알콕사이드[(CH3)2CHO]3Al 혹은[C2H5CH(CH3)O]3Al)를 각각의 알콕사이드 그룹에 상응하는 알코올에서 반응시킨 뒤 졸-겔과정 및 수열처리과정을 거쳐 막대모양의 리튬알루미네이트 입자를 제조하는 방법을 제안하였으며, SEM과 XRD를 이용하여 입자의 특성을 조사하였다. 생성된 리튬알루미네이트는 β상이며, 공기 중 700℃에서 소결하여도 상변호가 없이 안정하였다. 졸-겔과정을 거치지 않거나, 가수분해시 CH3COOH, NaOH수용액 혹은 templating agent인 tetrapropylammonium bromide를 첨가한는 경우에는 막대모양의 입자가 생성되지 않고 판형 혹은 비균질의 입자가 생성되었다.
Rod-like lithium aluminate was prepared by a sequence of sol-gel process and hydrothermal process. The starting materials were lithium alkoxide[(CH3)2CHOLi or C2H5CH(CH3)OLi], aluminium alkoxide([(CH3O2CHO]3Al or [C2H5CH(CH3)O]3Al), and the corresponding alcohol as a solvent. Lithium aluminate was in β-phase and there was no phase transformation after sintering at 700℃. But either plate-like or irregular shaped particles were obtained when sol-gel process was skipped or when CH3COOH, NaOH solution or tetrapropylammonium bromide as a templating agent was added during the hydrolysis.
