Modelling heat transfer for pitched-blade turbines operating in the laminar range of mixing
To model heat transfer on a vessel wall in the laminar range of mixing, a two-dimensional hydrodynamic model was proposed. The model consisted of a simultaneous solution of the Kirchhoff-Fourier energy equation and equations of motion. The model was used for pitched-blade turbines operating in the laminar range of mixing. Experimental studies confirmed that the two-dimensional model could be used for heat calculation in the tank.
