Rheokinetic characteristics of high-temperature dispersion of elastomers in oxidized asphalt
Describing the kinetics of formation of non-Newtonian, rheologically complex media such as dispersions of polymers in petroleum residues is of great interest since this would provide information on the behavior of the system in different stages of fabrication of a composite material with instrumental methods. In particular, taking the rheokinetic curves is useful in all stages of high-temperature dispersion of polymers in petroleum residues whose technology is widely used in production of construction materials, paving binders, and anticorrosion compositions. When the process must be stopped in some stage, the regime and duration of further processing of the semifinished product can be specified with these curves.
