The overproduction of the recombinant Plasmodium falciparum lactate dehydrogenase (pfLDH) has been investigated in the recombinant E.coli BL21(BE3) with pET21a/LDH vector system. Experimental optimization of the culture conditions, such as the effect of initial pH, operating temperature during the IPTG induction and the chemical induction timing have been tried on the growth of recombinant E.coli and but also on the large-scale expression of the target foreign protein.
