This study was performed to investigated the possibility of using waste lime as a support carrier for wastewater treatment. Cubic type support carriers were prepared as follows: ① mixing in water(waste lime, curdlan) ② pH control(pH 12 → pH 7) ③ heating (120 ℃, 30min) ④ dehydrating using freeze dryer. In the case of filling support carrier, high removal efficiencies of 25% were increased comparing with conventional process. Therefore, applicabilities of new developed waste lime support carrier were confirmed in this test.
