Future directions in recycling of petroleum-containing wastes. Thermal cracking - Optimum method for utilization of waste oils
The creation and introduction of environmentally safe technologies are an important direction in increasing the efficiency of world production and creating grounds for the stable development of modern civilization [1]. Special attention is being focused on the development and introduction of resource-sparing technologies that will allow processing of industrial and domestic wastes in an environmentally friendly manner. This will improve the state of the environment, reduce production costs, and economically recycle wastes as secondary products. It is especially important to take into account the economic, environmental, and industrial aspects in selecting methods and technologies for utilization of the most valuable and common wastes, petroleum-containing wastes in particular, such as waste oils (WO).
