Study of the polymerization ability of a novel type of aniline monomer, 2-(m-aminophenylbenzothiazole)
The oxidation process of the aniline derivative [2-(m-aminophenylbenzothiazole] was studied, and the products obtained from its oxidation and the coreaction with different ratios of aniline were characterized in structure and properties. IR, NMR, and MALDI-TOF spectrometries demonstrate the actual polymerization of the monomer, whereas DSC, TGA, and conductivity measurements show their good thermal and electrical properties when combined with aniline.
