Different methods of platinum deposition in the porous framework of a tubular ceramic membrane have been investigated. Metal loading, localization, and dispersion were studied using electron microscopy techniques. Results shows the characteristics of the platinum deposit deeply depended on the membrane structure, Pt precursor nature, and application procedure. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
