Biaryl library was prepared by the solid-phase cross-coupling reaction of polymer-bound arenesulfonates with arylmagnesium bromides in the presence of nickel(0) catalyst. This approach seems to be useful for the preparation of various non-functionalized oligophenyl library on solid-phase organic synthesis (SPOS).
