The growth process as well as optical and magnetic properties of the ZnSe-Fe and ZnSe-Co granular films deposited electrochemically have been investigated. We demonstrate that the ferromagnetic nanoscaled particles with multidomain structure are embedded in a ZnSe matrix with a polycrystalline structure exhibiting semiconductor behavior at room temperature.
