Integration of chromatographic methods in monitoring of crude oil
The use of different chromatographic methods in a crude-oil quality monitoring system is briefly described: C-1-C-6 hydrocarbon content, distillation by the method of simulated distillation with Multiplan interpretation of the chromatogram (determination of the n-paraffin content and prediction of the quality, of light cuts), and aromatic hydrocarbon content in diesel cuts by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and other indexes.
