Observer based learning control for a class of nonlinear systems with time-varying parametric uncertainties
We presented the application of the flatness based method for dynamic optimization problems for the optimal periodic control problem. The choice of flat outputs and the basis functions eliminates not only the numerical integration of differential equations but also the unknown periodic boundary conditions on the state. This results in generally efficient computation. The implications of point-wise constraints and the computation of the gradients are also discussed. The efficacy of the algorithm was illustrated by two examples taken from the literature.
