In this work, zeolite membranes were prepared using a conventional hydrothermal method and clear solution methodfollowed by characterization of permeation and separation factor. Especially submicron size zeolite powder was used as seed material on the alumina support and the temperature of synthesis was fixed at 90?. It was confirmed that the prepared zeolite membrane using clear solution method was more uniform compared with the hydrothermal synthesis. The zeolite membrane thickness of ca. 10 μm was obtained.
